I have been there on my Brompton - at many places in the parked position

Browsing the internet I have noticed that many Brompton riders like to put their folder in the parking position in front of an interesting sight.  Then they take a photo.

Often the result is a picture in which the folded Brompton stands in contrast to a piece of art such as a sculpture, or a historic landmark or a building of  outstanding architectural design.

One of these photos is a remarkable example of this.  In Sevilla, Spain, the sculpture of the famous Egg of Columbus has been adorned by our Brompton friend Hani.
Look a the great analogy:  Columbus is said to have put an egg into a standing position on a table before a baffled group of critics who had claimed that anyone could have discovered the Americas.  That way Columbus proved to them that it had taken his genius and his creativity to solve a seemingly simple task which had appeared impossible to be solved by anybody else.

No other folding bike like the Brompton falls into the parking position in such a practical way.  And it pleases our eyes because it looks so beautiful and perfect.  See for yourself how nicely it supports the idea of creativity expressed in the sculpture of the egg of Columbus in Sevilla.
